Call
Forwarding No Answer
 |
 |
What
it does:
When you need your calls directed to another telephone number, Call Forwarding No Answer will automatically forward each call that has not been answered. Calls may be forwarded to a selected local, long distance, or your cellular number. |
 |
How
it works:
To Activate:
-
Lift the telephone and listen for dial tone.
-
Dial * 9 2.
-
Listen for three beeps and a steady dial tone.
-
Dial the telephone number to which all calls will be fowarded when your line is not answered.
-
The system then attempts to complete a "courtesy call" to the designated number. If someone answers at that number, activation is complete.
-
If no one answers, repeat from step 1.
-
You will hear a confirmation tone after you have a successful activation.
-
Hang up.
To deactivate:
-
Lift the telephone and listen for dial tone.
-
Dial * 9 3.
-
A confirmation tone is returned to let you know deactivation has been completed.
-
Hang up.

Notes:
The maximum number of rings before the call forwards is ten; the minimum is one. The default is set at four. Call our office if you would like something other than the default.
-
Calls forwarded to long distance telephone numbers will be charged to you.
-
To change the forward-to number, you must first cancel Call Forwarding No Answer, and follow the deactivation steps above, and then activate again to the new forward-to number.
