Notes:
Subscription to Call Waiting/Caller ID requires the
lease or purchase of a display telephone or an
add-on display unit. The display phone or
unit will store caller information until you remove
it. The number of calls stored will depend
on the display unit you obtain. This equipment
is available from Connections, Etc.
If "private" appears
on your screen, the caller may have blocked the
display of their name and telephone number before
placing the call. You can choose to answer
the call or not.
If a caller has an unlisted
or non-published telephone number, only the telephone
number will display on your screen (unless the
caller has blocked the display.)
If an "out of area" or
"unknown" appears, the caller is in an
area that does not support Caller ID services.
Anonymous Call Rejection
is provided free with Caller ID service. This
service, when activated, will prevent the completion
of "blocked" or
"anonymous" calls to your number. |
