Programming the TV Code
(Allows your DIGITALTV remote to control your TV)

The TV code is a specific code for each brand and model of TV.  When a TV code is set, the remote control is able to address the specific signaling requirements for that TV.

For Remote Model SRC-300 (see back of remote for Model Number)

  1. Turn TV on any channel.
  2. Press the LED button on the remote control and hold it until the LED flashes rapidly.
  3. Press the REC*  button.  The red light will light up and remain solidly lit.
  4. Press and release the POWER key.  The remote is now in scanning mode.
  5. While pointing the remote at the TV, continuously press (don’t hold) the UP arrow (by doing this your TV is scanning through all TV codes).  Some TV’s may take longer to scan than others. When you reach the correct TV code the TV will automatically turn off. NOTE: LED on the remote will flash rapidly, then stop, indicating that the TV code has been stored.
  6. Press the SELECT button to store the TV code.  The LED on the remote will flash rapidly, then stop, indicating that the TV code has been stored.
  7. You may now press the green power button to turn on the TV.

* The one with the red dot.

Note: If you press the up arrow too rapidly, you may pass the TV code before the time the TV turns off.  If you are not sure you are storing the correct TV code, press the down arrow slowly to cycle back through the codes that have been previously scanned.
